I wanted to send this message to thank you for your support to the Denver Justice and Peace Committee. Many of you attended our November 10th Awards Night, in which we honored the work of ACODET, the Guatemalan indigenous organization fighting to protect community land from megadam projects. Others accompanied us in our journey to Nogales, where we participated in the School of the Americas Watch protest against US foreign policy, immigration policy, and demanded the closure of the Fort Benning School of the Americas. Still more of you are joining our educational and solidarity trip to Chiapas, where we learn from indigenous, human rights, migrant rights, peasant, and environmental activists organizing against mining, infrastructure, and militarization. In all of our work, we strive to bring the voice of the South to the North, allowing the most vulnerable to speak directly to us on issues of justice and equity. Giving Tuesday has just passed, and I write to ask you for your tax deductible contribution. Become a sustaining member by setting up a monthly contribution. Make a one-time contribution. Help us continue our work towards building a better world.
In Solidarity
