IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO JOIN DJPC'S

BUILD-FOR-PEACE,

OUR WORK-A-THON FUNDRAISING TEAM!
 


There's still room on the team for a few more "builders"

 for our annual spring "Build for Peace" fundraiser.

 Won't you join us and line up some sponsors soon?

 The date is:  Saturday, May 19th, 8:30am-3pm.

 We will be working with Family Tree who provides housing and
 important programs for homeless mothers and children
 http://www.thefamilytree.org/en/. 

Work done in the past has included painting houses and
fixing porches as well as landscaping, carpentry, etc.
We will inform team members about our work projects
and location a week before the work-a-thon.

 In the meantime, volunteers need to solicit pledges for the
hours of work they will put in and/or flat donations. All monies raised
go towards DJPC's work towards peace and justice in Latin America.

If you are interested in participating, there are two main requirements:
1)That you make use of all Build for Peace materials provided to you
 (e.g. draft solicitation letters, FAQs sheets, etc).
to raise funds to support DJPC; and
2)You must come for the scheduled May 19th Build for Peace day
where you will enjoy working in good company with other DJPC members
and supporters.
