Members of the Denver Justice & Peace Committee’s MineWatch group
at Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine Company in Colorado,
a subsidiary of AngloGold, Ashanti Corporation.
Denver Justice & Peace Committee,which opposes Newmont Mining Corporation’s
open-pit,cyanide heap-leaching, gold mining in Cajamarca, Peru
in solidarity with 75% of the people living there,
visited the Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine in Colorado on Monday, July 21, 2014.
Stop the contamination of groundwater from such mines.
Protect environmental and human rights in the face of open-pit mining.
