Thank you Build for Peace volunteers and Sponsors! You help us raise $1,950!

Dear friends:

On Saturday, September 19th, 2020. A group of DJPC volunteers donated the equivalent of 40 hours to ReVision in the Westwood neighborhood, harvested tomatoes and did maintenance work. To further our commitment to solidarity with working class, immigrant, Latinx, and grassroots movements.

Westwood has one of the largest latinx populations (77%), in Denver, Colorado. It is one of the poorest neighborhoods and a food desert. ReVision’s, community garden provide food security to over 100 families in Westwood, many of whom are immigrants.

Our Build for Peace volunteers sponsors have donated $1,950. Can you be a B4P sponsor and help us achieve our goal of $3000?

Your donation is tax deductible. DONATE online or send a check to: “DJPC Education Fund” and mail it to Denver Justice & Peace Committee, P.O. Box 12403 Denver, CO 80212.

Thank you to ReVision for this amazing opportunity to support the latinx and immigrant community in Denver at the same time we raise awareness of the struggles in Latin America.

Thank you to Natasha Kerr our volunteer coordinator, Kristin Lacy, Lynn Holland, Preston Enright, Lonna Bloom, Patrick Buckley, James Chaney, and Rebeca Zúniga.

Thank you!!
