Build for Peace (B4P) is a day of service for a community organization, for years it has been a major fundraising effort for DJPC. Our goal is to get DJPC volunteers involved in raising funds by requesting sponsorship to family and friends for a half day of work at a community organization. We invite you to join our team and recruit new B4P workers by reaching out to family and friends.

HOW IT WORKS:
- Volunteers commit to work a half day on a project at:
- Frontline Farming at the Celebration Garden on 1650 South Birch St., Denver, COon September 11 at 8:00 a.m.
- Work will consist of mostly weeding, cleaning the walking paths and minor repairs. Bring your garden gloves.
- Volunteers collect pledges from friends and family to fundraise to cover operation cost for the DJPC and its education and solidarity work.
TO BENEFIT:
The DJPC to continue doing education and advocacy work in the Colorado community on issues of human rights affecting the Latin America region, promoting international solidarity through collective action to achieve environmental justice and economic equity.
Build for Peace is an excellent opportunity for you to get out into the Denver community, contribute to a meaningful project and help DJPC in the process. It is also a great way to meet other DJPC members and volunteers!
