Last Saturday (8/26/2017) our team of volunteers worked at La Casita Community House in Westwood, and fixed up the deck and put up a new basketball hoop, improving their newly built Outdoor Kids’ Play Area “El Jardincito”!.

The DJPC is a standout human rights organization in the Rocky Mountain region with a 40-year history in the fight for justice and human rights in Latin America. It has sponsored numerous delegations to areas affected by environmental contamination, land grabbing, and human rights violations. DJPC also educates and advocates through forums, short articles and blog posts, press releases, street action, and accompaniment.

Build for Peace (B4P ) is a work-a-thon which follows the model of the popular and commonly known walk-a-thon. Build for Peace is an excellent opportunity for you to get out into the Denver community, contribute to a meaningful project and help DJPC in the process. Join us next year!
