Though it was hardly the first industrial accident in the country\u2019s garment sector, Rana Plaza was by far the deadliest, and it brought increased urgency to an ongoing conversation about how to address the problem of workplace safety in the region\u2019s export factories. Aunque no ha sido el primer accidente industrial que ocurre en ese sector en el pa\u00eds, la Plaza Rana fue el m\u00e1s<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #280099;\"><span lang=\"es-ES\"> desastroso, lo que atrajo la atenci\u00f3n al tema sobre la problem\u00e1tica de la seguridad laboral en las f\u00e1bricas de exportaci\u00f3n en la regi\u00f3n. La profesora Bair nos presentar\u00e1 algunos hallazgos de su reciente investigaci\u00f3n de campo y entrevistas realizadas a funcioarios del gobierno, due\u00f1os de f\u00e1bricas, y l\u00edderes laborales en Bangladesh.
