Quarantine Chatauqua: December 11th at 6pm

Dear Sister and Brothers:

We trust that you are all doing well. What a year 2020 has been; it will never be forgotten. We are so thankful for the many ways you have continued to support our work; your commitment to international solidarity is now more important then ever. Our struggles continue; corporations have not stopped abusing our communities and have used the pandemic to increase their abuse. We will continue resisting!

In lieu of our end of year potluck, we invite you to a night of music and education – our Quarantine Chatauqua!

  • Friday, December 11th 6:00 pm.
  • Zoom ID: 881 0575 7277

Lessons from resilient communities.” (Yes, she is my mother, and she is a leader in the PHM – an international popular demand for health as a human right).

There will be a Virtual Silent Auction!

DJPC boardmember Preston Enright reminds us, Chautauqua (/ ? ? ? t ?? k w ? / sh?-TAW-kw?) was an adult education and social movement in the United States, highly popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.Chautauqua assemblies expanded and spread throughout rural America until the mid-1920s. The Chautauqua brought entertainment and culture for the whole community, with speakers, teachers, musicians, showmen, and preachers. Bring your music, poetry, and testimonies of endurance during the pandemic and stories to celebrate holiday spirit.
